Pastor Paul Todacheeny Baptizing At Teec Nos Pos

This is the Full Gospel Church at Teec, pastored by Paul Todacheeny and his wife Betty.
Teec, the local way of referring to Teec Nos Pos, sits at the north end of the Carrizo Mountains and Pastora Peak, rising up to 9400 feet.
The Carrizos remind me of the front range at Colorado Springs, with the red rocks of Garden of the Gods.
Five or six miles north of Teec is Four Corners, where the borders of the four states come together.
Teec Nos Pos, pronounced 'Tiece Nawz Bawce' means 'Trees All Around', and near the Chapter House and Government Housing, there are quite a few trees, especially in the valleys.
At the time of this writing, we have given two Bible studies, and shown the first Transformations video done by George Otis Jr. Two weeks from now, we will be having a baptism service.
We were in need of a tank of some kind in which to do baptisms. We began asking God to provide us with one or the means to get one. The next day, a surprise donation came in the mail, and it covered the cost of the tank. So we now have a 4' long, 100 gallon horse trough that we can take with us in the truck, along with enough 5-gallon buckets to fill it 3/4 full. We will have to take water with us to Teec.
The people are excited about the teaching, because for the most part, the only teaching they really get is when a Revival comes through, and then all they get is the salvation message. They are hungry for more. They all have Bibles, some in Navajo, but the reading is difficult for many of the older ones.

Building the Foundation
At Teec Nos Pos

God is moving on the Navajo Reservation. He is preparing to build His House there, and the foundation is being layed. There are stirrings all around the perimeter of the Reservation in spiritually strategic locations, from Payson, AZ to Window Rock, to Farmington and Shiprock, to Teec Nos Pos and elsewhere.
Prophecy has been spoken numerous times about this. Even across the globe they are talking about it. In Fiji just last week, it was spoken that God was beginning to move on the reservations of the U.S.
The preparation is underway, the cornerstones are being laid. God has been moving many people into the area for this purpose.
Our little piece of the action is in Teec Nos Pos at this time. After three weeks of Bible Study at Teec, we had a baptism service there, in which nineteen people made the choice to obey Christ's command to be baptized.
A portable tank was brought out, and several 4 mile round trips with water containers were required to fill it.
In the process, one woman who was helping got her foot run over by the trailer tire. Tendons were pulled, and she could not put any weight on her foot at all. She was annointed with oil, and several laid hands on her and prayed for her healing. As we prayed, my hand became very hot. I knew God was doing something. She testified later that her foot 'went numb' as we were praying, and it did not hurt anymore.
We continued preparations while she sat resting her foot. A little later, the Lord spoke to me and gave me a Word for her, so I went and told her what I heard. She was amazed, because what I spoke was the very thing she had been thinking about. It encouraged her to begin walking around. By the end of the service, she was putting her weight on her foot again.
One man hitch-hiked nearly 80 miles Sunday morning so he could get baptized.
One, who was blind, did not allow the obstacle of climbing up three steps on a step stool and back down another one into the water slow her down. She was determined to get baptized and nothing was going to get in her way.
One came up from the water speaking and praising God, but it wasn't in Navajo!
One man said that he had quit drinking about three months prior, and has wanted to get baptized since then, so he was very happy that we were doing this. Now that he has been baptized, he says he is going to keep his eyes facing forward now, not looking to the right or left, but straight ahead at Jesus.
There were some who had been baptized years ago, but they really did not understand what they were doing at the time, and now they wanted to do it again because they understood now.
After the last one was baptized, the Spirit moved upon the people and they began spontaneously praising and worshipping the Lord, and giving Him the glory for the work done this day.

The Work Continues

Our weekly Bible Study continues, with a core group showing up each Wednesday. We have been studying the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts of the Spirit. Several came forward for baptism of the Spirit.
Interest in the Word continues, as well. They are so thankful that someone has come to teach them more of the Word and daily living in Christ. Later this month (October) we will have Chris Pajak, the worship leader from 4-Corners Community in Shiprock, come to teach on praise and worship with a Wednesday teaching, a Saturday seminar, and he and his worship team will come and share their ministry on that Sunday.
The worship leader at Teec was awakened from a dream the other night, speaking the words "Yes I will be your pilot, Lord." After some praying, three bore witness that God was calling her into leadership in praise and worship in a greater way, leading her people into the heavenlies in praise and worship, and that she was expressing her willingness to be obedient to His call. She is very excited about the upcoming seminar.

Praise & Worship Seminar
October 22, 2004

Chris Pajak, the worship leader at 4-Corners Community Church in Shiprock, agreed to come visit and teach at Teec. He taught on Wednesday evening about praise and worship and what worship really is.
On Saturday the 30th he will give a seminar on various aspects of praise and worship, and on that Sunday, he will hopefully bring out his team and do the p&w for the service.
