About Jordan River Church of God This is the church that Don and Lynn Cartwright, founders of Many Waters Mission, ministered to over 25 years ago. It has come a long way. From a small shed-sized building with a dirt floor, it has become a focal point in the surrounding area, a place where people come to learn and receive what God has for them, a place of vitality and inspiration. It is located high up in the Chuska mountain range, on the eastern side of Arizona, just east of Canyon De Chelle, surrounded by mountains and pine trees, not quite what you would expect in the midst of the southwestern desert. It is a very beautiful area. The church recently added onto their building, adding classrooms, an office, restrooms, and fellowship hall. It is not yet finished. At the time of our visit, a group of young adults were visiting, and ministered to the congregation. It was a great time of rejoicing in the love of the Lord.
